Flow Injection
SIMPLE, RELIABLE and NO LOSS Sample Injection from Small to Large Volume
This Flow Injector is specially designed for easy sample loading of the preparative chromatography regardless of the amount, small or large volume. Sample is loaded upward by the eluent in the Flow Separator into the column from the cartridge tank. Complete loading without any sample loss as the periphery of the Flow Separator is washed clean rapidly and consistently with eluent. Even the samples of high concentration or viscosity can be loaded without tailing. The Flow Injector is made with the material that is resistant to any solvent.
PREPARATION
- Connect the Flow Injector to the loop position of 6-way injector valve.
- The air vent valve (3-way valve) at the inlet of column.
- Deliver solvent into the tube to purge air completely.
- Connect the tube to the bottom of Flow Injector.
INJECTION
- Loosen the cap nut and remove it.
- Feed sample to the Cartridge Tank.
- Clean the adhesion of sample at the inlet port with solvent if any.
- Close the cap and cap nut tightly.
- Start delivering solvents.
- Discharge air coming out from the drain of air vent valve. Sample is going up by lifting Flow Separator.
- When sample reaches the air vent valve, switch the 6-way valve to the column.
- Sample is loaded into the column, and then eluent solvent is delivered.
